His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, an MS in General Surgery from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, and a DNB in General Surgery from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi.
