Dr. Ajay Kumar is a well-known gastroenterologist with over 30 years of expertise. He treats Pancreaticobiliary Disease and luminal Gastroenterology and does Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy.

He has received several awards for his advanced treatment methods, including the B.C Roy Award from the Honorable President of India, the J. Mittra Olympus Award from the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, the Vishisht Chikitsa Ratan Award from the Indian Academy of Medical Specialities, and the International Service Award from the American Society of Endoscopy 2018.

He has routinely attended seminars and conferences and has given various presentations. Prof Mehta Oration API SISCO Pentax Oration SGEI, Prof K. L Wig Memorial Oration Delhi State API, Col BL Taneja Memorial Oration, Khamman, AP are only a few of the talks he has given.

He is also a member of the Delhi State Medical Council Executive 2003, the President of the Indian Society of GI Endoscopy, and the President of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology.

He is also a member of the Global Society of Digestive Endoscopy's working committee, which was formed to develop practice recommendations and Endoscopy publications.

He is a member of the Editorial Boards of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the official journal of the American Society of GI Endoscopy, the Asian Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the Journal of Digestive Endoscopy, and "Gastroenterology," the official journal of the American Gastroenterology Association.
