Dr. Ajay Sharma is a senior eye specialist with more than 28 years of experience.

In 1996, he was one of the first doctors in India to use the Phacoemulsification technique for cataract surgery.

Dr. Sharma was the first doctor in North India to use ARTISANS PHAKIC IOLs, and also among the first three doctors in India to start using special lenses like Crystalens, TORIC IOLs, and TORIC multifocal lenses.

He has successfully performed over 40,000 eye surgeries and introduced many new eye treatments in India.

In 2007, he started using Micro Incision Cataract Surgery with the Stellaris Phaco System. In 2000, he brought the LASIK eye surgery to Haryana.

Dr. Sharma has also performed more than 17 live surgeries at medical events and conferences in India.

He specializes in treating glaucoma, squint, oculoplasty, and performing eye surgeries to correct vision.

Additionally, Dr. Sharma is a member of many top medical associations like HOS, NZOS, DOS, AIOS, ESCRS, AAO, and the S-MICS club.
