His educational background includes an MBBS from Prince of Wales Medical College, Patna, an MD in Medicine from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and a DM in Neurology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

His area of expertise lies in treating Vagus Nerve Stimulation (Epilepsy), Epilepsy Surgery, Nerve and Muscle Disorders, Neurological Problems, Sleep Disorder Treatment, Paralysis and 

Peripheral Nerve.
