Dr. Alok Gupta has worked as a minimally invasive, bariatric, and laparoscopic surgeon for more than 20 years.

His professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, abdominal surgery, VATS (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery), bariatric surgery, minimally invasive anorectal surgery, laser treatment for hemorrhoids, and minimally invasive endocrine surgery.

He is a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASICON International meeting), and the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI).

Dr. Gupta got his MBBS from KGMC in Lucknow, his MS in general surgery from PGIMS in Rohtak, and training in hernia and bariatric surgery.

He also learned how to do laparoscopic surgery from Dr. C. Palanivelu at Gem Hospital in Coimbatore.
