His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the University College of Medical Sciences & GTB Hospital, New Delhi, an MD in General Medicine from G B Pant Hospital/Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and a DM in Gastroenterology from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. 

His areas of interest lie in treating Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic, Bariatric Surgery, Piles Treatment, Abdominal Pain Treatment, Constipation Treatment, and Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Mucosal Resection.
