Dr. Amit Rastogi has a wealth of experience in the fields of surgical gastroenterology (also known as GI surgery) and liver transplantation.

He has worked in these fields at a number of reputable hospitals and medical institutions across the country, including SGPGI, GB Pant Hospital, AIIMS, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Apollo Hospital.

He completed a two-year fellowship in liver transplant surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, which is the country's biggest and most successful liver transplant program. During his time there, he worked with the program's pioneers.

He completed advanced training in robotic liver surgery at Grosseto, Italy, and earned his first training in robotic liver surgery at IRCAD in Strasbourg, France.

In addition to giving numerous invited talks and papers in his profession, he has several writings that have been published in both national and international journals.

He is enthusiastic about performing hepatobiliary surgery using robotic and minimally invasive techniques, as well as liver transplantation using living donors.
