Dr. Ashok Kumar Vaid is a highly respected and award-winning medical oncologist with over 41 years of experience in cancer treatment.

He started one of the largest private-sector Stem Cell Transplant programs in North India, and he was also among the first to perform 25 bone marrow transplants in a private hospital in India.

He specializes in performing cancer genomics, immunotherapy and targeted therapy, precision oncology, hormone, and biological therapies, dendritic cell therapy, and chemotherapy.

Dr. Vaid was honored with the Padma Shri Award by the President of India for his outstanding service in the field of medicine.

He is also a Principal Investigator in over 50 national and international clinical studies, and has authored many peer-reviewed medical articles.

Under his guidance, Medanta Cancer Institute has become one of India’s leading centers for cancer care, known for its complete, advanced, and compassionate treatment approaches.

Dr. Vaid has worked with prestigious institutions such as the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and Artemis Health Institute.

Additionally, he organized many national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences to promote cancer awareness and medical education.
