Dr. Carreen Pakrasi is a well-regarded ophthalmologist who has worked in the field for more than three decades.

She is an accomplished surgeon who is able to conduct cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, refractive surgery, and UVEA.

She also treats myopia, hypermetropia, retinoblastoma, squint, corneal opacity, colorblindness, nocturnal blindness, and fungal infection of the eyelids, among other eye conditions.

She is a registered practitioner with the Medical Council of India (MCI). She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College in Berhampur, Orissa in 1986.

The following year, in 1991, she received her Doctor of Medicine degree in Ophthalmology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. After that, in 2009, she received a postgraduate diploma in hospital management from the Institute of Health and Family Welfare in the state of West Bengal.
