Dr. Dinesh Khullar is a highly regarded nephrologist with over 32 years of experience.
He has successfully performed more than 5000 kidney transplants, including over 1200 transplants at Max Hospital, Saket.
Dr. Khullar has successfully handled some of the most difficult transplant cases, including ABO-incompatible transplants (where blood types don’t match), transplants in highly sensitized patients, and cases with other serious health conditions.
He set up North India’s first online hemodiafiltration unit, which gives one of the most advanced forms of dialysis. However, this has greatly improved the quality of dialysis care in the region.
Apart from this, he leads the department and is responsible for important areas, like ensuring the quality and safety of treatments, hiring and training doctors, and overseeing academic programs (like DNB and clinical fellowships).
Research and Publications:
Dr. Khullar has led and contributed to many national and international research studies, including DAPA-CKD Transform, and has also written many research papers and articles.
He also edited a medical book titled Lupus Nephritis-Pathogenesis and Current Management as well.
