Dr. Dipanjan Panda is a highly experienced Senior Consultant at the Department of Medical Oncology, with over 10 years of expertise in the field.

Before he started working at IAH, he was an Associate Professor and the director of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Institution of Liver and Biliary Sciences.

This institute is an independent super-specialized institute that is run by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Dr. Panda received his education in oncology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), which is located in New Delhi and is widely regarded as one of the best medical Colleges in this region of the globe.

After finishing his residency (DM) in medical oncology, he went on to pursue a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts, United States of America.

From there, he moved on to a teaching position in India. Acknowledged for establishing the medical oncology section at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi in the year 2011, in conjunction with the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences

Known for initiating both the first-ever Hepato Pancreatic Biliary (HPB) Oncology unit in the nation as well as the first-ever PDCC course in HPB oncology.

In addition to his commitment as an academician, Dr. Panda is a skilled therapist. In addition to delivering an uncountable number of lectures at a variety of national and international conferences.

He has around 20 publications in a variety of national and international journals that have all been subjected to peer review.

In addition to being a reviewer for Hepatology International, he is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology as well as the European Society of Medical Oncology.
