His educational background includes an MBBS from the University of Bihar, Bihar, an MS in General Surgery from the University of Patna, Bihar, an MCh in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery from the University of Delhi, Delhi, and a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery from The RCH, Melbourne.
