Dr. Jayanti Thumsi is a prominent Surgical Oncologist with an extensive experience of more than 31 years in the field.

Her educational qualifications include an MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, and an MS in General Surgery from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai. 

Her area of special interest lies in Mastectomies, Microdochectomy, Breast Reconstruction Surgery, DIEP Reconstruction, and Implant Reconstruction Surgeries.

Dr. Jayanti Thumsi has conducted more than 3500 breast surgeries and 2500 other surgical procedures.

She wrote a book called 'Lump to Laughter,' which talks about how women feel during breast cancer treatment. It includes information from doctors and is now in its third version.

She is an esteemed member of the Association of Surgeons of India, the Indian Cancer Society, and the Association of Breast Surgeons of India.

She received the Chanakya National Award – Jury Special Award for Medical Inspiration from the Public Relations Council of India & World Communicators Council and was presented with the Kengal Hanumanthaiah State Award.
