Dr. Jyoti Wadhwa has received clinical training in Hematological Malignancies, including Stem Cell Transplant, from prestigious institutions in India and the renowned Imperial College School of Medicine's Hammersmith Hospital in London, UK. Since then, she has been excelling in her field.
She has worked as an assistant professor of medical oncology at the Institute of Radiation and Cancer Research (IRCH) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
In addition to his position as Deputy Secretary of India's National Academy of Medical Sciences, Dr. Wadhwa is the author of a book on breast cancer and a member of several prestigious medical organizations, including the Indo-American Cancer Association, the American Society for Clinical Oncology, and the European Society for Medical Oncology.
Specializations include but are not limited to lung cancer, head and neck cancer, brain tumors, breast cancer, and stomach cancer.
He has held positions including those of Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at IRCH, A.I.I.M.S., New Delhi, Deputy Secretary at the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India, and CME Co-ordinator at the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India.
Her book Breath Cancer: A Community Medicine (Community Health) and Medical Education Approach won the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India) - 2008 Sir Shriram Memorial Award for Best Published Work.
