Her educational qualifications include an MBBS from Grant Medical College and J J Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, an MD in General Medicine from Grant Medical College, Mumbai, and a Fellowship from the Japanese Rheumatologist Association.

Her areas of expertise are Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis Gout, Vasculitis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Scleroderma, Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis.
