Dr. Meet Kumar is a highly experienced hematologist and bone marrow transplant (BMT) specialist with over 14 years of practice.

He has successfully performed more than 700 bone marrow transplants, including autologous, allogeneic, matched unrelated, and haplo-identical procedures.

Dr. Kumar has worked with several leading medical institutes in India, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, SGPGI, BL Kapoor Hospital, and Fortis Memorial Research Institute.

He also played a key role in establishing the first Bone Marrow Transplant Center in a State Government set-up in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Dr. Meet Kumar’s expertise is exemplified by the successful bone marrow transplant he performed on a 32-year-old patient, Shahla from Uzbekistan, who was suffering from severe blood cancer. With the disease critically impairing her bone marrow’s ability to generate healthy blood cells, Dr. Kumar uses advanced transplant techniques to replace the diseased marrow with healthy donor cells. This complex procedure not only restored Shahla’s capacity to produce normal blood cells but also led to her remarkable recovery.

Dr. Kumar was awarded the Hisar Gaurav Award and the Global Award for Emerging Hematologist.

Additionally, he has published over 20 research publications in national and international journals, and actively participates in conferences as a Panelist, Moderator, and Chairperson.

Dr. Kumar is involved in research projects with Marengo Asia Hospitals to improve outcomes in hematology and oncology as well.
