Dr. Nikhil Pal is a well-known and highly experienced ophthalmologist with over 25 years of experience.

He has successfully performed 10,000+ vitreoretinal surgeries, including the latest 25G/27G sutureless procedures, 15,000+ cataract surgeries, including laser-assisted (FLACS) and robotic surgeries, and advanced treatments for vitreous hemorrhage, macular holes, dropped lens pieces during surgery, diabetic eye disease, retinal diseases like ARMD and vasculitis, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), laser therapies and retinal scans (like fluorescein angiography, refractive surgeries (including Femto-LASIK).

In 2002, he finished a 3-year junior residency at the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at AIIMS. 

From 2003, he worked for an additional three years as a Senior Resident, focusing on vitreoretinal surgery, eye injuries, and retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) as well.

Later, he went to the University of Wisconsin to complete a fellowship in vitreoretinal and further sharpen his skills.

Along with patient care, he trains young doctors from India and abroad, especially in Vitreoretinal and ROP management.
