Professional Experience

He is very skilled in gastrointestinal and abdominal procedures.
After first being hired in December 2012 as a senior consultant, he was elevated to head of the department by March of this year.
Before coming to this institution, he served as the department head of both general and minimal access surgery at the Indian Spinal Injury Centre and Nova Specialty Surgery.
In 2010 and 2011, he served as the department head at Columbia Asia Hospital GBD.
From 2007 until 2010, he served as a senior consultant at MAS Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, in the department of general surgery.
From 2005 until 2007, he was a senior consultant at Fortis Hospital in Vasant Kunj. For the last 17 years, he has worked as a lawyer in the Greater Delhi area.
He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most experienced hands in his industry, with more than 14,000 successful procedures to his credit.

He's an active member of the Renal Transplant and Infection Control Committees.
He has been an integral component of the Operation Theatre Committee, where he helps set policy and formulate strategies for the smooth operation of the theatres.
The operating room is running more smoothly because of his managerial abilities, and OT turnaround time has been reduced or eliminated entirely.
His medical license is valid in both Gujarat and Delhi (General Surgery and Minimal Access Surgery).

Research & Fellowships

In addition to his impressive resume, he also holds a membership in the esteemed National Academy of Medical Sciences (Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Saheb was the Founder and Chairperson of NAMS).
In 2016, he graduated from the "Leadership & Management Executive Programme" at the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta.

The Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), the Obesity Surgeons Society of India (OSSI), the Indian Association for Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (IAGES), and the American Society for Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery (AMASI) have all inducted him as a Life Member ( Association of Min Access Surgeons of India)
He was inducted by the National Academy of Medical Sciences, an esteemed organization.
Published an article in the International Journal of Surgery on Dermoid (Fetus in utero).
He gave a continuing medical education talk on how new developments in radiography have helped in the diagnosis of surgical disease in patients.
In the annual drug bank display at the Medical College, he took an active role and gave a continuing medical education presentation.
