Dr. Praveen Chandra was the first in India to perform Percutaneous Aortic Valve Implantation without open-heart surgery to give patients a safer, less invasive treatment option.
He was the first to successfully perform Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair in India, helping patients with mitral valve issues without the need for major surgery.
Dr. Chandra introduced the Angio Jet Thrombectomy Device in India, which is an advanced technique to remove dangerous blood clots from arteries.
Additionally, he pioneered Asia’s first Percutaneous Myocardial Laser Vascularization Program, the best treatment for patients with severe heart conditions who are not suitable for bypass surgery.
He was also the first to use FFR (Fractional Flow Reserve) and Bioabsorbable Stents in India, marking a major advancement in coronary artery treatment.
