Dr. Prof Arvind Kumar is a renowned Thoracic Surgeon with extensive experience exceeding 36 years in the field.

His educational qualifications include an MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, an MS in General Surgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and an MNAMS from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

He also did a FUICC from the International Union Against Cancer, Geneva, a FACS from the American College of Surgeons, Chicago, a FICS from the International College of Surgeons, USA, and a FIAGES from the Indian Association of Gastro-Intestinal Endo-Surgeons. 

His area of expertise lies in lung cancer, Carcinoid Tumors, Bronchiectasis, Aspergilloma, Hydatid Cysts, Nodules, and Bullae & Blebs or Pneumothorax. 

Dr. Arvind performed over 15000 thoracic surgeries including minimally invasive and robotics surgeries.

He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, Association of Surgeons of India, Clinical Robotic Surgery Association, Delhi State Chapter, Association of Surgeons of India, European Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Indian Association of Gastro-Intestinal Endo-Surgeons, Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, Indian Society of Oncology and International College of Surgeons.

He received the "Fakhr-e-Hind" award at the International event Jashn-e-Bharat, he was also honored with the "Dr. B.C. Roy Award" in 2014 as the "Eminent Medical Person" by the Government of India.
