He received the AO Spine Research Award, along with 6,000 Swiss francs, for his study on how spine surgery can help correct uneven breasts in teenage girls with scoliosis.
He was selected for an AO Spine Fellowship and got the chance to train with Dr. Michael Grevitt at Queens Medical Center.
In 2012-2013, Dr. Rajat Mahajan was recognized as the Best Spine Fellow at the Indian Spinal Injuries Center.
