Dr. Rajiv Baijal works as a Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist at Pushpawati Singhania Hospital & Research Institute (PSRI). His expertise includes hepatic, biliary, pancreatic, digestive, and bowel disorders.

Since 2008, he has served as the Head of the Department of Gastroenterology, DNB guide, and appraiser for postdoctoral trainees in DNB (Gastroenterology) at Jagjivanram Hospital in Mumbai, which the National Board has approved of Examinations in New Delhi to award the DNB (Gastroenterology) superspecial-ty degree since 1994. He has trained six DNB candidates in gastrointestinal medicine, completed fellowships in endoscopic ultrasound at the Institut Paoli-Calmettes in Paris, high-resolution esophageal and anorectal manometry and 24-hour pH-meter at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, and single-balloon enteroscopy at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Hyderabad.

He has 88 articles published in scholarly journals both abroad and at home.
