Dr. Rajiv Parakh is a highly experienced vascular surgeon with 36 years of medical practice. He completed his MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, in 1981. Subsequently, in 1986, he obtained his MS in general surgery from the same institution, followed by an FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom in 1987.

In addition to being a member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS) and the National Convener for the Fellowship program in Vascular Surgery of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS).

He has also been elected Vice President of the International Society for Vascular Surgery (USA) in 2010 and Secretary of the International Society for Vascular Surgery (ISVS) in 2007.

The doctor specializes in a wide range of vascular and endovascular procedures, including carotid surgery, peripheral vascular and endovascular surgery, vascular trauma, and endovascular repair of aneurysms.

He also served at Fortis Memorial Institute Gurgaon.
Specializes in carotid surgery, angioplasty below the knee, endovascular repair of aneurysms, vascular trauma, and other forms of peripheral vascular and endovascular surgery.
He has coordinated teacher training courses for the National Board of Examiners.
A leader in the field of peripheral vascular and endovascular medicine and the current Chairman of the Board of Medanta, the Medicity.
Opened a municipal hospital's vascular surgery department as one of the first such facilities in the nation.
