Dr. Ram Chidambaram, a consultant orthopedic surgeon, boasts over 28 years of expertise in this field. He has built up a specialized practice focused solely on sports medicine and injuries to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. His goal is to help patients recover almost perfectly to their pre-injury state.

Dr. Ram Chidambaram moved to Chennai in 2011 and left behind a successful practice in the NHS. He established his upper limb surgical practice as a specialty, and in a short period of time, he was able to turn this specialized area into an exclusive orthopedic super-specialty.

Over 4500 keyhole procedures, 1100 joint replacements, and 3000 trauma surgeries on the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand have been completed by him in the last 13 years.

The American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) both elected Dr. Ram Chidambaram as a member. In 2017, he was chosen as the Shoulder and Elbow Society of India's new president.
