Dr. Ramakanta Panda is an acclaimed Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeon with an extensive experience of more than 4 decades in the field.

His educational background encompasses an MBBS from BJB College, Bhubaneswar, an MCh in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and a Fellowship in CVTS from Cleveland Clinic, USA.

His areas of expertise lie in treating Cardiac Catheterisation, Mitral/Heart Valve Replacement, Coronary Angioplasty / Bypass Surgery, Patent Ductus Arteriosus Device Closure and Coronary Angiogram.

He has performed numerous high-profile cardiac surgeries on Indian government officials, including former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Under Dr. Panda’s leadership, the Asian Heart Institute has become the country's top heart care hospital. For the past 14 years, it has consistently been rated the best private heart care hospital in India by national surveys.
