Dr. S Balakumar is a respected Vascular Surgeon with an extensive experience of more than 25 years in the field.

His educational background encompasses an MBBS from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai Nagar, an MS in General Surgery from Madras Medical College, Chennai, and an MCh in Vascular Surgery from Madras Medical College, Chennai.

His areas of clinical expertise lie in Vascular Trauma, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Microvascular Surgery, Intra - Arterial Thrombolysis, Vascular Surgery, Sclerotherapy, and Cerebrovascular Surgery.

Dr. S Balakumar has been teaching MCh postgraduates as a Professor of Vascular Surgery for the last 11 years.

He is an active member of the Vascular Society of India, Venous Association of India, Tamilnadu Medical Council, and Indian Medical Association.
