Dr. S. Gurumurthy is a prominent Radiation Oncologist with a wealth of experience of more than 23 years in the field.

His educational background encompasses an MBBS from Sri Ram Medical College, Chennai, and a Diploma in Radiotherapy from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

His area of expertise lies in treating Interstitial Radiotherapy, Cancer Screening, Proton Therapy, Brachytherapy, External Beam Radiation for Prostate Cancer, and Thoracic Radiotherapy.

Dr. S. Gurumurthy has the distinction of being the first in South India to treat Brain Tumors via Interstitial Brain Implants with High-dose Rate Brachytherapy. 

He is also one of the limited number of doctors in India skilled in Implant Brachytherapy for the entire body.

He is an active member of the Tamil Nadu Medical Council and the Indian Medical Association.

He received the prestigious Sir A. LakshmanaMudaliar Award in Oncology, was recognized as the top oncologist in the state in 2001, and was honored with a Gold Medal in Oncology.
