Dr. S. Radhakrishnan is a highly regarded pediatric cardiologist with over 40 years of experience. 

He has successfully performed more than 3,000 cardiac catheterizations and over 5,000 echocardiography procedures, include 200 non-surgical closures of Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) using devices, 600 non-surgical closures of Atrial Septal Defects (ASD).

He also completed 20 stent placements in venous channels and great arteries, and 30 post-myocardial infarction closures of Ventricular Septal Defects (VSD).

His areas of expertise include the device closure of heart defects, balloon dilatation of valves and arteries, stenting of arteries and veins, and transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement. 

He played a major role in performing the first-ever Balloon Dilation of the Atrial Septum and Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasty at AIIMS.
