Dr. Sanjay Govil is a Liver Transplant Specialist/General Surgeon with a rich experience of more than 35 years in the field.

His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Christian Medical College, Vellore, an MS in General Surgery from Christian Medical College, Vellore, and a Fellowship in Pancreatic Surgery from Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

His area of expertise lies in Astigmatism, Cirrhosis, Hemochromatosis, Liver Disease, Hepatitis B, Vaser Liposuction, Piles Treatment, and Liver Transplant.

Dr. Sanjay Govil took on the role of President of the Indian Chapter of IHPBA in 2022. 

He garnered recognition for conducting the first successful Adult Living Donor Liver Transplant at CMC Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

He is an active member of the Association of Surgeons of India, The Indian Pancreas Club, The Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology, and The Indian Chapter of the International HPB Association.
