He has performed over 5,000 heart and vascular surgeries, including bypass, valve, congenital, thoracic, and vascular procedures. More than 80% of his surgeries are done without blood transfusions successfully.

Dr. Gupta has special expertise in operating on patients with kidney problems, achieving almost zero death rates, and he performs all bypass surgeries (CABG) on a beating heart, even in patients with heart attacks and cardiogenic shock.

He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from MLN Medical College and earned his MCH in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery from King George’s Medical College.
