He sits on the board of directors for the Indian Society of Nephrology and is Vice President of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation.
He is board-eligible in both adult and pediatric nephrology. While working at some of the best institutions in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, he developed a specialization in treating pediatric renal illness. He was a major contributor to what is today one of the largest dialysis and transplantation programs in the country at SGPGI in Lucknow.
