• He treats diseases of the stomach, intestines, colon, and rectum. But, he specialises in performing colon and rectal cancers using minimally invasive methods such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, because these techniques help reduce pain, scars, and recovery time for patients.
• He is also experienced in treating abdominal wall hernias, gall bladder stones, and anorectal problems, and uses advanced laser procedures whenever suitable.

• Dr Senthil Kumar secured the All India 2nd Rank in the FACRSI Colorectal Fellowship Exam and won 1st prize (ACRSI/Abbott Excellence Award) for Best Original Video on Laparoscopic TPC with IPAA at ACRSICON.
• He has won 2nd prize (ACRSI/Abbott Excellence Award) for Best Original Research on Biofeedback therapy in anorectal disorders at PROCTOLOGY / ACRSICON.
• Also, he won 1st prize (ACRSI/Abbott Excellence Award) for Best Original Research on Laparoscopic anterior resection, analysis of technique over 1000 cases at ACRSICON.
• Dr Senthil received a Research Grant of £3000 from the Equipment Committee, St. George’s University of London.

Additional Certificate Courses

Dr Senthil Kumar Ganapathi completed training in robotic surgery on the Versius system at CMR Surgical from the University of Sharjah in 2022.

He finished a certified course in Good Clinical Practice with the Indian Society for Clinical Research.

He took part in a Faculty Development Program to improve teaching and training skills with the National Board of Examinations.

He also completed a basic course in Introductory Statistics and Research Methods at the University of Cambridge.
