Dr. Shabber Zaveri is an acclaimed Surgical Oncologist with extensive experience exceeding 25 years in the field.

His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru, an MS in General Surgery from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad, and an MCh in Surgical Oncology from The Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, Gujarat.

He also completed a Fellowship in Robotic Surgery from Hackensack Medical Center, New Jersey, a Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery from Fachkrankenhaus, Germany, a Fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, and a Fellowship in Cytoreductive Surgery & Hipec from European Institute of Surgery, Germany.

His areas of special interest lie in General Surgical Oncology, Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, Head and Neck Oncology, HIPEC & PIPAC, Sarcoma Specialist, and Lung and Mediastinal Tumor Resections.

Dr. Shabber Zaveri founded the Department of Surgical Oncology at Manipal Hospital Bangalore and became one of the first surgeons in India to perform Minimally Invasive Radio Guided Parathyroid (MIRP) surgeries.

He is an esteemed member of the Association of Surgeons of India, the Indian Association of Oncology, the Association of Breast Surgeons of India, and the European Society of Surgical Oncology.
