Dr. Smita Malhotra is a pediatric gastroenterologist with more than 15 years of experience. She has extensive experience in the field of pediatric liver transplantation, having overseen and evaluated over 250 such procedures. Even infants weighing only 3-4 kg have undergone these transplants after developing acute or chronic liver failure due to a wide range of metabolic liver disorders. 

In addition to working with kids who have celiac disease, she treats kids with malabsorption, acute and chronic diarrhea, failure to thrive, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic disorders, vomiting, pain in the abdomen, constipation, and functional gastrointestinal disorders.
