Dr. Srilathaa Gunasekaran is an experienced Ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery with over 15 years of expertise.

She is highly skilled in various corneal transplant procedures, including full-thickness, lamellar, endothelial, and keratoprosthesis.

Dr. Srilathaa completed her education at the renowned All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

She has firsthand experience dealing with a wide variety of corneal infections. With extensive experience in FemtoLASIK, Contoura, and ICL procedures, she is dedicated to finding the best possible refractive surgical solution for each patient's eyes. She is an expert in performing cataract surgery and implanting a wide variety of high-quality intraocular lenses.

She has given several talks at both domestic and international conventions, and she has published extensively. The Asia Cornea Society has granted her a Santen educational grant to attend the Singapore National Eye Centre for further training.

She spent over six years at Medanta the Medicity in Gurgaon, where she was important in establishing and leading the cornea and Refractive surgery services before joining Fortis. She is credited with starting the successful Hospital Cornea Retrieval Program when she was employed there.
