Dr. Srinath Vijayasekharan is an acclaimed Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a career exceeding 21 years in the field.

His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the University of Calicut, Malappuram, an MS in  General Surgery from the University of Calicut, Malappuram, and a DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore.

His area of special interest lies in ASD / VSD Device Closure, Peripheral Angioplasty, Pacemaker Implantation, Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty, Radial Approach Angiography, and Cardiac Catheterisation.

Dr. Srinath Vijayasekharan has handled roughly 6,000 cases, including approximately 1,500 CABGs and 600 other cardiac surgeries that he conducted independently. 

He has been involved in about 300 heart, lung, and combined transplants and has substantial experience in VAD implantation across various devices, as well as over 100 ECMO.

He is a respected member of the Travancore Cochin Medical Council, Tamilnadu Medical Council, and  Indian Medical Association.
