Dr. Subodh Pande has extensive clinical and educational expertise in the field of radiation oncology. After receiving his MD in radiation from the AIIMS in New Delhi in 1977, he worked at the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, where he helped create neurooncology and pediatric oncology programs.

In 1997, he went to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi and assisted in the development of a contemporary radiation oncology department and stereotactic radiotherapy facility.

In 2005, he was named Director of Medical Services at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Jaipur, where he was key in opening the hospital's first Linear Accelerator, a first for the state of Rajasthan.

Dr. Pande is particularly interested in using Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and PET scan-based cancer treatment approaches.

Professional Experience

After completing his medical degree in radiotherapy at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi in 1977, he worked at the Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, where he helped create the institution's neurooncology and pediatric oncology departments.
Later, in 1997, he joined the staff of Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in New Delhi, where he worked on expanding and improving the hospital's stereotactic radiotherapy capabilities.
In 2005, he became the first person in Rajasthan to hold the Director of Medical Services position at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Jaipur, where he oversaw the installation of the state's first Linear Accelerator.
