Dr. Sumit Kumar Bose has been practicing dermatology for over 30 years, making him a top dermatologist in the Delhi. He is an expert in the fields of dermatology, venereology, STIs, and cosmetic dermatology. Some of the services he offers are psoriasis treatment, chronic skin allergy treatment, hair loss treatment, photodynamic therapy, and laser hair removal.

Dr. Bose is passionate about dermatosurgery; he studied under the late Prof. PN Behl and is now an adjunct professor in the department of dermatological surgery at NCT Delhi and serves as an advisor to the school. He has written chapters for The Textbook of Cosmetic Dermatology (1994–2005) by Robert Baran and Howard Maibach and Cutaneous Surgery (Ed. Vinay Saraf, 1997), contributing a total of 12 articles to the field of dermatosurgery. Arch Dermatol. 1998;134:1543-1549 cited his review, "A critical appraisal of different surgical modalities in vitiligo," as the first peer review on the topic in Asia.

The results of his postdoctoral research, titled "Basement membrane production by human epidermal cells cultured on inert filters in total absence of serum and dermal components," were presented at the First World Congress of Cellular and Molecular Biology in Paris from September 1-7, 1991.
