His medical qualifications include an MBBS from the University of Agra, Agra, an MS in General Surgery from the University of Lucknow, Lucknow, and an MCh in NeuroSurgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

His area of expertise lies in the Endoscopic Treatment of Cervical, Lumbar Disc, Lumbar Canal Stenosis, Endoscopic Removal of Spinal Tumors, Atlantoaxial Dislocations, Spinal Fractures, Tuberculosis of the Spine, Spinal Cord Stimulator and Endoscopic Removal of Brain.

Dr. Sumit Sinha has successfully performed over 250 surgeries addressing complex nerve injuries, achieving notably high success rates. 

He is an esteemed member of the Society of Neuro-Oncology, Neuro-Endoscopy Society of India, Neurological Society of India, Neurological Surgeon Society of India, Skull Base Surgery Society of India, and Indian Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery. 

He received the Young Neurosurgeon Award at the Times of India Achievers Award, and he was also honored with both the Best Paper Award and the Best Poster Award in the Basic Sciences Category.
