Dr. Suresh Rao is a prominent Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon with an extensive experience of more than 33 years.

His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Grant Medical College and J J Groupf Hospital, Mumbai, an MS in General Surgery from Grant Medical College and J J Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, an MCh in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from Sree Chitra Institute, Trivandrum and a DNB in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

He also received a Fellowship from the Indian Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons and a Fellowship from the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai.

His area of specialty lies in treating Neonatal and infant Heart Surgery, Complex Congenital Heart Corrections, Valve Repairs in Children, Repairs Through Limited Posterior Thoracotomies and Ministernotomies, and Newer Techniques of Cardiopulmonary Bypass for Congenital Heart Corrections.

Dr. Suresh Rao's surgical experience exceeds 12,000 procedures.

He has contributed to 40 publications in peer-reviewed international journals as an author or co-author.

He is an active member of the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India, IACTS, European Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, World Society of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery, and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society.
