Dr. Tapankumar Saikia has an extensive experience of over 35 years in the field of Oncology.

His educational qualifications include an MBBS from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, an MD in Medicine from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, a DM in Oncology, and a DNB in Medical Oncology from the National Board of Examination.

His area of specialization encompasses Hematology, Head and Neck Cancer, Lung Cancer, and Breast Cancer.

Dr. Tapankumar attends State Cancer Institute, Gauhati Medical College, Assam as a pro bono Visiting Professor and Senior Consultant for at least two days a month.

His extensive publication record includes over 170 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and he has served as the section editor for the oncology segment of the API Textbook in recent editions.

He is an esteemed member of the American Society of Hematology, The Association of Physicians of India, the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, the Indian Society of Medical and Pediatric Oncology, the Union for International Cancer Control, and International Association of Cryptologic Research.
