Dr. Yugal Kishore Mishra is widely regarded as one of India’s leading cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, with over 32 years of experience.

He has successfully performed over 22,000 cardiovascular surgeries.

He has also completed more than 2,500 cases using port access technology and is highly skilled in redo cardiac surgery, having performed over 1,000 such procedures.

In December 2002, Dr. Mishra developed the robotic cardiac surgery program at Escorts Heart Institute, where he has since performed over 500 robotic cardiac surgeries with outstanding results.

Dr. Mishra has published more than 175 scientific papers and has chaired scientific sessions at prominent conferences in the USA, UK, China, Italy, Japan, France, and various Far East countries.

He has also conducted live-operative teaching workshops in Bangladesh, Thailand, and Nepal, sharing his expertise on an international level.

Additionally, Dr. Mishra has trained over 90 cardiac surgeons in minimally invasive cardiac surgery at M S Ramaiah Memorial Hospital.
